A swan, (presumably female), was seen on a nest on one of the islands in the Three Brooks Lake, whilst a second swan, (presumably her mate), swam around the lake looking like a gunboat on patrol.

Green Gym 26th March
In the Green Gym of 26th March we did litter picking along the footpath between the Breydon Avenue entrance and the lake with a detour through Webbs Wood. Despite the poor weather we managed a turnout of six hardy souls.
Squirrels in Savages Wood
It was nice to see several squirrels running around in the early spring sunshine whilst we were walking through Savages Wood the other day.

Tadpoles in the newt pond
On the Green Gym of 19th March we saw hundreds of tadpoles at one end of the newt pond.
