Saturday 4 April 2009
We will be planting wildflower seeds in the meadow area by Sherbourne’s Brake. We’ll clear patches of grass with spades, scatter the seeds and cover them loosely with topsoil. Spades and seeds will be available but it would be helpful if people could bring their own garden trowels and hand forks to help break up the soil patches. Feel free to bring any suitable seeds you may have too.
We probably won't have enough seeds to do this all day so we also intend to do some litter picking around the area to tie in with a national “spring clean” event.
